WHAT IS GOING ON AT DV RADIO?
First and foremost, we apologize for not having a newsletter in the last little while. We’ve had a ton going on in behind-the-scenes with a few new [original] shows, looking for some new hosts, getting some equipment set-up, and working with some amazing companies and organizations as well as individuals.
Two weeks ago, we were able to speak with DeAnna Charett and how she is helping Veterans in the film industry which you can hear right here, on DV Radio’s podcast. DeAnna discussed her 501(c)3 and what her mission is for the Veteran Community.
This past Saturday, we had the honor and pleasure of being able to speak with our brother, a leader, and humanitarian Tony U. Brown. Not only is Tony a Veteran and working on developing the most realistic military experience video game, Tony works with the community to help our youth know there is more than gangs, helping men to realize emotions are okay, and so much more through Southern CC, Inc. This episode of BARRACKS TALK was (not only) fun, but so informative and eye opening for the hosts and many of Saturday night’s listeners. To hear this episode, head over here.
DV FARM NEEDS YOUR HELP!
As many of you know [or may not know] is that the DV Farm presently cannot continue its mission of reintegrating Veterans, addicted and homeless, back into civilian society as they need to raise $25,000 (at minimum) to redo the entire septic system up to today’s coding standards. It’s just an extra bit of audio (once or twice a month if available) where those that are paid subscribers to DV Radio’s Newsletter can enjoy. Bullets, Blades & Hooks is a podcast created by military veterans (Recoil & SGT WarDawg) to discuss all things outdoors. We’re excited to explore the individual stories of how adventures in hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, etc. have an amazing therapeutic effect post and even during service as well as just have fun swapping those big bass and buck stories.

Due to the fact that we do not make enough income through sells, DV Radio uses a third-party for merchandise. This also means that we're limited as to what items we can offer as well as discounts and, we cannot have a "non-expiration" discount code.
That is the downside.
The upside?
Every purchase you make means we make 100% profit (if it has the DV Radio logo, others receive their full 100%) even if that is just one dollar. We hate that we cannot have an ongoing discount code or offer this item, that item, those variants and so on and so forth but it's the best we can do with what we have to work with. Furthermore, every host has or does pay something into DV Radio to keep it going... and not one of us makes a single cent from any income [whatsoever] that comes through.
Another pro is that we can offer every discount the third-party allows us which means, we want you to use those promotional offers. There's at least one, whether it's a percent off or free shipping every month. We want you to take advantage of these promotional offers. We hate that we cannot do more and, maybe, we will be able to do more in the future but until then please, spread the word and take advantage as much as you can.
