Valentine's Day Special!
If you missed BARRACKS TALK this past Saturday, you don't want to miss Valentine's Day!
BARRACKS TALK
We had a fun and (somewhat) educational episode this past Saturday with our guest Joshua Billups [whom we call JB]. He served in the Oregon National Guard and had a tour of Iraq; today he is working on creating his dream of woodworking full-time. If the podcast isn’t up at the time you’re reading this, please be sure you’re following DV Radio here so you get to listen to us have fun, discuss why we love antique machines, and much more!
Valentine’s Day Special
As you all know, DV Radio has absolutely NO paid sponsors to help us cover costs, a great majority of what is paid comes out of our [hosts/staff] pockets. The best way to support us financially is through the DV Radio Store. And this Valentine’s Day, you get 25% off of your ENTIRE ORDER!! We have new designs, merchandise, and we know you all love to save money. Unfortunately, our balloon supplier has shutdown his business but you can still have amazing merchandise, show your support for DV Radio, and help organizations and individuals such as Change Unchained, Betsy Ross, PTSDog, SGT WarDawg and the DV Farm by purchasing their merchandise as well! (All DV AGAINST DV merchandise sells go directly to Change Unchained.)
So head over to the DV Radio Store here and start saving now!
[NOTE: DO NOT FORGET TO CLICK THE “REDEEM” BUTTON FOR YOUR 25% OFF!]
Backpacks For Life
Did you know that we’re still raising funds to get bags as well as hygiene and care packages (inside the bags) from and for Backpacks for Life for our homeless. We cannot do this without your help and the difference you make in one person’s life could mean they get back on track. You can help us raise funds by donating to DV Radio’s Ko-Fi here. Our goal is $3,200 (to cover backpacks and care packages), we currently are only 10% of the way to that goal.
Be The One
Two weeks ago, we had the honor of having Dave Berkenfield join us. He is a Navy SEAL, member of Chip Ganassi Racing, and they all work with the American Legion on a project simply called “Be The One”. Dave spoke to us about what and why this is so important to him and the amazing team at Chip Ganassi Racing as well as the Legion. We were honored to be able to spend an hour with him and know that they’re helping us, and our fellow brothers & sisters to stop taking a permanent end to a temporary situation. For that episode, you can listen here. You can also find out more about Be The One here.
